Ace Your Exams
HEAD Start
You want to finish your junior year strong and lock in the top grades you can. Exams can really make or break your averages, so power on and remember there's the holy grail ahead of you: summer vacation!

HEAD Lines
Know that this will be your last big effort for your classes this year - if you can see the light at the end of the tunnel, you may be able to survive the tunnel. How?
  • Assess your weaknesses and focus on improving them (but don't forget that you have strengths, too!).

  • Make sure you know, to the extent that you can, what will be on the exams and cover all areas.

  • Ask for help if you need it - it's mature to realize that you are not perfect in everything.

  • Clarify points with your teachers if material is unclear.

  • Get some good sleep the night before.

BECAUSE MY GRADES WERE SO-SO, Purdue sent me a "Get grades of B’s or better this semester and we'll let you in" letter. Apparently, all I needed was a little motivation to get my grades up. I was really excited and proud of myself once I got the acceptance letter, partially because I wanted to go, but mostly because I wasn't sure what I would do if I didn't get in.
