I wouldn't say I come from a different culture than my in-laws - but I definitely come from a different generation. It's like being from two different worlds. My wife is with me on this, but her mom and dad come from the generation of "men are men, women are women, that's just how it is." It causes tension. What can I do?

Man, join the crowd. I think it's something everybody has to deal with. Just stay true to yourself.
