A lot of people go for the over-priced and locally famous wedding planners. They tend to be the ones that are overbearing - because they are famous nd over-priced. Your best bet is to go with someone you are comfortable with on a personal level - you can spend an hour of your time with them and enjoy it. These are the people who will talk to you about what you want, give you what you want, and make sure you're staying within budget.
