Thoughts on living in a place surrounded by people of a completely different background and culture.

I would love to broaden my horizons and live in a place where I am the minority, but I am nervous and apprehensive about being accepted.

If you didnt have the chance to go abroad-which would have given you this opportunity-definitely try it in your own country, if only for a short time. You of course want to make sure what you are getting yourself into-you dont want to start any racial wars like that small town in Tennessee where african americans were not allowed to live, for example. I truly think though that it can be a really interesting experience. Make sure to write keep a journal about it.

Really cool idea, but why? Are you doing it to understand people better? Or to do some sort of research about it? I think it can be important for children as well who will learn at a young age that there are all types of people in this world who are not so different from themselves. Write a blog on this thing about it.
