Why is my son such a procrastinator? Could he be nervous and stalling the college process?

RE: Procrastination and how to push the kids along in the college process without doing it for them? Thoughts?
I think if you push them into it they will back away even more. Some kids at 18 are just not ready and that is perfectly ok. Maybe he needs a year to breathe or maybe he has done some research, but is keeping it to himself. Talk to him about it in a calm manner without nagging, telling him that you support him no matter what-but still stressing how important college is.
