I am also with you on that one. From what I have heard the only thing in college that resembles high school are the fraternities and sororities. I think college has such a wide selection of people that it will be easier for you to find real people.

I think the size of your college makes all the difference. The bigger the school, the more people tend to fall into strictly drawn social groups. Joining a variety of clubs and getting involved in various activities can combat this issue in your life.
