They never seem interested, but it is so important-how to get my teen to spend more time with the family?

Any tips on what to do with my teen in order to spend more quality time together?

Ask some of the things that they like. Maybe there are hobbies they have that none of their friends like. Or, maybe they like good food and you could offer to teach them how to cook this favorite meal so that you could make it together and in turn eat a meal together-make it a regular thing.

Propose an activity that you know they'll like. Go to the beach for a day, go to a movie, maybe even try and brave a concnert. Don't try and be one of their "buddies," but they'll never want to hang out with you if you're not doing something they enjoy.
