And there is no easy way to get through it. And you really have to work at it - you have to push yourself to get to a point where you trust people again and can be vulnerable with them. that's the measure of whether or not you are through it. You should also know that your ex is just a guy with little-boy troubles. There are healthy men out there who know how to act with love and compassion. Don't let your ex's little-boy troubles take that away from you.

Understand why this person may have done it-not to make excuses, but come to terms with the fact that it isnt your fault. Also maybe trying to see the signs better although even that is tricky. Take some time to yourself and then remember not to let it burn you for the rest of your life. Their are relationships out there where people dont cheat.

The tough part is the good times you shared with him before he cheated. NO person EVER deserves to be cheated on. When a person cheats they are making a desicion right there that they do not love the person they are dating and that they do not want to be with him/her. Breaking up with someone who you care about and love is always tough no matter how it happens. Just relaize that you deserve a whole lot better and there are guys out there who will treat you right and the thought of cheating will never even cross their mind.
