Unless you somehow either can do everything in your power to convince your family otherwise or are willing to have your family feel disappointed your whole life, you are better off trying to find someone more suitable for you. If with all of your heart you know this is the right person than you may have to sacrifice a lot-either by one of you converting if it is a matter of religion or by letting your family slowly accept you for who you are and who you want to be.
