I say no. I thought me and my ex girlfriend would do that, but after some time, I found out who she really was. That may not be the case with you, however, if you are friends you are going to be tempted to getting back with her. Also, any future girlfriends will not be all that excited that you still talk to your ex. My ex cheated on me with her ex and they were "only friends" too so I say you forget about her.
