open Is secretly living together OK? E 10.23.2007 00:00
My boyfriend hasn't told his parents that we're living together, and have been for three months now. He says they would be mad "because it goes against their beliefs." Should I care? Is this bad news? We haven't talked about marriage - I'm not ready, and neither is he.

Since you're OK with letting him "milk the cow for free," and I'm assuming your parents have no problem with the living arrangements, I would say the only concern is that this shows a lack of maturity on his part, and it could become an issue down the road.

You must be a cool chick! Have you met the parents? Were you forced to lie to them? Kind of puts you in a bad spot, doesn't it?

Bad sign. Not to rain on any parade - and no advice to give- but definitely a bad sign!
open Should I have my shirt off in my profile pic? Mickey 10.23.2007 00:00
I have a friend who says you should offer one picture in your profile that shows you with your shirt off (for guys, that is). Is this true? Do girls really like this? Seems sort of cheesy to me.

That is stupid. I guess if you want to attract cheesy, shallow women, go for it.

I dunno - I don't consider myself cheesy, and I wouldn't mind seeing a guy without his shirt on. But it has to be just part of the picture - like, you on a fishing boat, out in the sun, it makes sense to not have your shirt on. But you standing in your backyard, shirt off, flexing your muscles for the camera? Uh, no.

If you are pasty and flabby, please don't. If you are super muscular and super tan, please don't. If you are somewhere in the middle, sure, take your shirt off for us!
