A girl has to be attractive enough to generate my interest but looks are not what keep me around. In order for me to see any future in a relationship, she has to be able to carry on a good conversation, display a good balance of street smarts and book smarts and she must be ambitious and motivated to support herself.

It all comes down to sex. She can be all right looking and know how to throw down, and suddenly she’s the hottest thing ever. And she can be super-hot but be stiff in bed, and suddenly her looks aren’t as impressive. The girls that I’ve dated that I spent the longest with, the ones that I still think about and remember their names, are the ones that I had great sex with. Isn’t that what we’re all looking for?

I dunno. I had a girl that knew how to have sex, but she wasn't all that pretty (just being honest). And every time I'd take her out with my friends, it felt odd. Like, I’d get my friends alone and say, "But she's really good in bed!" I guess I'm a pig. Never mind.

Good sex is a good thing. Good conversation is, too. If you have both, your relationship will go far. Missing one or the other, and you won't last long.

I like a girl that can throw her hair in a ponytail and just go. We head out for the day in casual clothes and the windows open in the car and she doesn’t worry much how she looks. Of course, the girl I’m, picturing is naturally hot, so there’s not much to worry about. But I think even pretty girls can over-worry about their looks. I like girls who are adventurous enough to just let go and have fun.

If she likes watching sports, keep her!

I want to make something clear – I think there’s an impression that most women roll their eyes at men who watch sports. But that’s not true. I love a man who watches sports. I like watching sports, too! But, like anything, I think the healthiest people are the ones that have found a balance in life. And so I also like a man that reads a lot. And not sports magazines and the sports page. I like a guy that will read a few novels a years and take an interest in The New Yorker. That’s a really nice balance. Of course, I’m still looking. I did find one guy that was obsessed with Fantasy Football and also read thrillers – but I’m not much of a fan of thrillers.

Lips – I’m very into full, but not too full, lips. And no lipstick. Lip gloss is all right, but it looks best when it’s about to wear off. And I like a girl that can express herself well, can talk about left-leaning, high concept ideas floating around in the ether, but can do so without taking herself too seriously. I’ve had dates that were very much about the conversation, which gave me a great opportunity stare at her lips.

Lips? I can think other things to stare at!

European women generally have good lips. I spent a recent nite staring at the lips of a girl from Spain. She talked a lot, but I didn’t mind.

Funny. He has to be funny. It's a great sign of intelligence. Make me laugh, and you have my attention.

I’m looking for a guy who looks like he's in his early 20s but I don’t want a guy in his early 20s. I think that might be a problem.
