Yes, you must send a thank you. Here's a template to make it easy.

First of all, don’t even think about e-mailing a “thank you” letter to someone who interviewed you for a job. An e-thanks goes against the advice in just about every etiquette book out there. At the very least, it should be typewritten on quality paper and mailed. Even better, pull out a nice piece of stationary and handwrite your message. Here’s a template to give you an idea of what to say.
