And look out for those pyramid schemes! Anytime you're "interviewing" with a hundred other job prospects in a hotel ballroom, and one guy is pitching his company to you, that's bad news!

All you wil be doing is selling perfume for a tyrannt who will promise you your own office if you keep up the hard work. Eventually you will get tired of working for free, then they find another sucker. It happened to me.

Even when you visit a legitimate company, watch out for miserable employees. Look at their faces. If they seem miserable, you might want to find out more before you work there.

That is so true! Make sure you take a close look at the employees while you are in the office to interview. It is not hard to tell when everyone is miserable in thier jobs, and there usually is a reason for that. Consider it an early warning that that might not be the right place for you.

I know very few people who know exactly what they want to do with their life. I know a lot of people that have several interests, and they just pick one and go with it. Make the best of it. Make it the right choice.

Make a list of your dream jobs, and jobs that if money were not an issue for you, you would want. Then, apply for jobs in those areas. When you love your career, the money will come.
