As people are moving out on their own, I thought to move back in with parents, save money, and have some more time with them, how bad of an idea is this??
After college I thought about possibly moving in with my parents for a while, others thought this was a bad idea. Any thoughts?

I think its a good idea for saving money, but dont forget how hard it is to go back to living with your parents after being out of the house for so long. They might nag you and it may cause arguments. If you can learn to cope and get over that hump i think it should be fine- but not for too long-how will take back someone you like while your parents are home?

I say go for it. If your parents are willing to have you live there and not pay or anything than why not. You can save money, spend time with them, and hopefully avoid cooking for a while. In Europe people sometimes live with their parents until the age of 28 or 29. In America it just seems old at 22 to be at home, but in reality you are still a baby. So take your time before rushing to live away from home.

As a parent, I think if you're going to live home, you'll have to pull your weight in some way, whether it's paying a reduced rent, or doing chores.
I don't know what your parent's expectations are, but it's probably a good idea to discuss that, since some people feel that their children, no matter the age, must abide by their rules if they live in the house.
As long as you're both comfortable with the arrangement, it's a great option for the short term.
