Don't have the time, money or are you not cut out for a review class? Here are some HOH alternatives.
STUDY WITH FRIENDS.
A study group can be a fun (and free!) way to make sure you’re devoting time to the SAT. Having a group of friends nearby can make SAT prep easier to deal with and you can help each other with tough problems. Just make sure to stay focused!
GO ONLINE.
The Internet is full of SAT study options. While the big companies offer expensive online courses (not always a great choice), there’s also lots of free help. The College Board offers free practice questions and even a free sample practice test at http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/sat/prep_one/prep_one.html.
STUDY ALONE.
If you’ve got the discipline and can set aside the time, simply studying on your own with prep books can be a perfectly good option. You can either buy practice books from the top test prep firms or simply use the College Board’s Official SAT Study Guide.
