My concern for the TEST PREP for the SAT!!! HELP ME!!!
am plan on taking my SAT in June 2008. Right now, I am taking a SAT Prep course in high school and its not that good at all. The teachers don't even check to see if the problems are correct and they only check if you do the problem. Now I get letters and emails from The Princeton Review and Kaplan to take the preparation for the SAT. Even though I have learning disabilities, I do not know what I am going to do about this. The SAT Prep in my school is half a credit(1/2: 2nd semester of the school year)
WHAT SHOULD I DO TO DO WELL ON MY SAT ?
A. TAKE THE PRINCETON REVIEW PREPARATION FOR SAT
B. TAKE KAPLAN TEST PREP AND ADMISSION PREPARATION FOR SAT
C. TAKE THE SAT PREP COURSE IN SCHOOL
D. DO NOTHING

RE: My concern for the TEST PREP for the SAT!!! HELP ME!!!
If you can afford to take either the Princeton or the Kaplan, both have a proven track record of helping students. Also, you might want to look around in your area - often you will find tutors who will help you one on one, and they can be less expensive than a full-on brand-name course. And if you have learning disabilities, they can be addressed specifically.
Another option - sit down with your school counselor and tell them you don't think you're getting enough out of the course and that you want more. They might be able to line you up with someone at the school who's willing to hep, even for free ...
Good luck!

RE: My concern for the TEST PREP for the SAT!!! HELP ME!!!
Hey thanks. I have decided to take The Princeton Review. My dad can afford it. I have told The Princeton Review about my learning disabilites. They haven't reply yet. I don't think my school has somebody that is willing to help me for the SAT. I cannot use my tutor for the SAT because he might not teach it right. I don't think he is suitable to teach me the SAT.
