Any Difference?
Im a little weaker in math. Are there any differences in the way the tests are set up where a weaker math student would do better on either test?

I think the ACT is better than the SAT for people who aren’t as good at math and reasoning. I took both tests and I felt the ACT was really testing my knowledge, like the things I was learning about in school, whereas the SAT was more abstract and more about testing reasoning and critical thinking skills.

The math on the ACT is more advanced and includes some trigonometry. Despite this, the questions are more straightforward whereas the SAT math tries to trick you. Take a practice test and see if you're able to handle the math on the ACT.

You should in any case try a few practice tests and see the different questions for yourself before you choose.

I took both tests and the math wasn't all that different. Maybe the SAT is a bit more tricky but on the whole they are almost the same.
